USA Triathlon's Youth Splash & Dash Aquathlon Series will feature a swim/run combination,
however the most common aquathlon as athletes progress in age and level utilizes a run/swim/run combination

THE CONCEPT
The USA Triathlon Youth Splash & Dash Aquathlon Series is open to athletes ages 7-15. Events will take place in each of the 10 regions across the United States. The focus is on participation rather than competition. The series serves as an introduction to multisport and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
