The Anderson Road Runners have always done an outstanding job with this race and their experience shows! They keep the runner in mind with details, course directions, course safety, finish shoot, overall organization and fun! Can't say enough good thing about this running club's event. "Ran this in 2013 and 2014. Last year, I followed it with the NYCM the following week.

Fairly standard NYRR race -- typical packet pick-up/ race start/ corral set-up/ run through Central Park.

The difference is the vibe. Given the ""kick-off"" to marathon week, all of the runners are pretty excited.

My first TCS NYC Marathon... I really enjoyed it ... very tough the last 6 miles but I trained for it ... so I got it ... for sure I will do it again ... I had my 9+1 already ... so waiting for November next year 👍🏻
