Abe's Mini Triathlon - Petersburg, Illinois - Triathlon

The Abe's Mini Triathlon is a Triathlon race in Petersburg, Illinois consisting of a Super Sprint.

Abes Mini Triathlon The Abe's Mini Triathlon. The race includes a 100 yard swim in the heated indoor PORTA pool, then a 5 mile bike ride down a flat rural road and finishes with a 1 mile run on a closed course. This event is tailored to the novice triathlete and will serve as a great introduction to triathlon for children and adults.

As a USAT Parafriendly Triathlon we will now be hosting male and female paratriathletes in both wheelchair and ambulatory divisions starting at 11:45am.

When you finish the swim you will be able to step into the locker rooms to dry off and change to biking and running clothes if you prefer. The locker rooms are located poolside as you leave the pool. Please get yourself comfortable for the bike and run. We suggest leaving your towel and dry clothes in the locker room while swimming. They will be safe during the swim.
