Have you signed up for any Half Ironman races in 2021?

Now with most of the country getting vaccinated for COVID-19 and races starting to pop up across the country, we figured those who haven’t trained in a while or want to get some of the rust off would be interested in some of the (easiest) Ironman 70.3 races.

Are you looking for an Ironman 70.3 race with your name all over it? Don’t worry - we’ve got you covered!

Having some easy races to run when you’re first starting, recovering from a marathon, or returning from a serious injury is a real asset. It gives you practice and confidence so that you’re able to benefit from the extra training once you sign up for an Ironman. It also allows you to run for fun versus sport if you have a competitive personality.

Here are five of the fastest Ironman 70.3 races in America:

  1. Ironman 70.3 San Juan. Among the most beautiful places to participate in a triathlon in the United States is Puerto Rico. Offering incredible temperatures on land and sea, you can be a beginner and do well in this event.
  2. Ironman 70.3 California. Held in Oceanside, you’ll find the temperatures pleasant and the scenery amazing. If you want to see how well you’ve trained throughout the year, you’ll appreciate its stacked pro field.
  3. Ironman 70.3 Texas. Typically held in spring in Galveston, this triathlon is great for getting your feet wet. Swim in the ocean, bike alongside the Texas Gulf Coast, and push your limits as you run around a three-loop course. It’s flat, and the temps have yet to reach their highs in April.
  4. Ironman 70.3 Florida. Panama City provides a beautiful backdrop for a 70.3 race. Not only will you swim in the warm ocean, but you’ll also ride your bike and run on flat surfaces with greater ease than other terrains. Best of all, the average temp is 66 degrees Fahrenheit during race time, which is ideal.
  5. Ironman 70.3, Maryland. Full of pride and camaraderie, athletes gather in Cambridge for the annual event. It’s one of the friendliest events you can attend in the nation. Despite being small in size, the city hosting the event offers a big welcome to first-time racers as well as seasoned pros.

Enjoy the fastest 70.3 races you can participate in today. Of course the huge X factor is the weather inall of these races, but for the most part the early start times coupled with flat courses should help you get a fast time.

Each Iornman 70.3 race is as exciting as the last. Learn more about other Half Irnman and ironman races, sprint triathlons, and other races by checking out this link – Triathlon Races Across the US in 2021. We provide you with a wealth of knowledge about all things race-related.
