This is one of the oldest races in Vermont and has great history and character. It is mostly on dirt roads and there is a gradual uphill toward the turn around making the last half feel easier than the first half. Don't expect a lot of hoopla, but it is pleasant

If you love to run around Overton Square/Mid Town while raising money for the Ronald McDonald house you have to do this race. The course takes you through some very nice neighborhoods around Overton Square. Afterwards have your picture taken with Ronald McDonald, Spider-Man and Batman! Well worth the money.

The year that I ran it was one of the coldest on books but the route was fantastic and the event was put on flawlessly from a runners point of view. The course is more hilly than what I am use to but the crowd along the route was amazing and
