Long Play Trail Run - Brooksville, Florida - Running

The Long Play Trail Run is a Running race in Brooksville, Florida consisting of a Marathon and 33 Miles (Ultra) and 5 Mile Trail Run and 66 Miles (Ultra).

Lake Townsend has many amenities: running water, bathrooms, pavilions, a hose for rinsing off, electricity, and a lot of shaded parking. The park also has plenty to do for the entire family with basketball courts, baseball fields, volleyball, fishing pier, and playground. Lake Townsend Park has many park amenities and you will find it a great venue for a race.
The course will start and finish on part of the Withlacoochee Trail with the middle of the race taking place on single/double track trails of Withlacoochee State Forest.
The Double LP will be a double loop of the LP course so you will have an easy Bag Drop location at the start/finish area. Another drop bag can be transported to a waterstop located halfway through the loop if you would like.
