The Ava's 5K for Down Syndrome is a Running race in Mt. Airy, Maryland consisting of a 5K.

Avaas 5K for Down syndrome will foster inclusion through awareness of individuals with Down syndrome. This event will benefit families through Family Resource, Information & Education Network for Down Syndrome (F.R.I.E.N.D.S.), a Down syndrome advocacy group based in Frederick, MD, and the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), a national Down syndrome advocacy group based out of New York, NY.
