Hands down the greatest race I've ever competed in. From start to finish there was non-stop support from the spectators. Great support from my fellow runners as well. We had a nice time. There is nothing big and asplashya� about this event. You show up and do your thing. Staff along the run were super friendly and pointed out tripping hazards and flagged traffic. Their cheering us on was appreciated. The long sleeve shirts are nice.

Chicago is one of, if not the best marathon. The crowd is packed along the route, cheering on all of the runners the entire time. The course is almost entirely flat. The volunteers and workers are incredibly supportive and helpful and everything runs like clockwork. This was my 4th time running
