  • How Do I Submit or Add a Race?
    • How Do I Add a Race?

      • Click on “Add or Manage Your Race” on the homepage
      • Enter the race name, state, and month of the race to determine if it is already present in our database
      • If the race is already listed, but the race details are not updated (race date, distance, city, etc), click on the Support link at the top of the page and email us which details of the race need to be changed
      • If race is not in our database, click on the HERE link on the race results page
      • On the Submit a Race page, enter the listing information for your race.  If you are not already logged in to your account, please log into your account. If you do not have an account, please create an account.

       

  • How Do I Claim a Race?
      • See the Race Director FAQ HERE or follow the steps below:
      • Click on “Claim or Add Your Race” on the menu bar or footer
      • Start typing the race name to determine if it is already present in our database (autocomplete will assist)
      • Click on the Race which you would like to claim and nit the button “Claim this Race”. If the race is not in our database, click on the HERE link to submit the race to RaceThread
      • You need to be logged in with a user account to claim a race.  Log in or sign up for an account
      • Fill in the 5 required fields with your name, contact email address, race organization, and phone number (If the race is already claimed, provide an official race URL/Link where RaceThread admin can verify YOU as the race director)
      • Once submitted, your email will go to RaceThread Admin and you will have a reply within 24-48 hours with additional instructions to finish claiming your race

       

  • The details of a race (date, description, course maps, etc) are incorrect or need to be updated, how do I change them?
      • Click on the Support link at the top right of the page and email us the details of the race(s) which need to be changed/edited. Include the official race page URL link with the correct race details

       

  • How Do I Upload Photos From a Race?
      • Find a Race you want to leave a review for
      • Log in to your account or create an account
      • Click on Write a Review
      • Fill out all required fields in review
      • Near the bottom of the review, click on “Upload” photos button
      • Drag and drop photo(s) and click “Open”
      • Click “Submit Review” at bottom of page and wait for review to be moderated (less than 24 hours) before pictures are displayed

       

  • How Do I Write a Review?
      • Click “Write a Review” on the footer or Search for the Race
      • On the race results page, click on the correct race.  If the race does not display, click on the HERE link to submit the race to our database
      • You will be directed to the review form if you are logged in to your account.  If you are not logged in, please log in to your account or create an account
      • Fill out all fields, adding as much detail as possible under your comments.  Remember, the more information you write, the more you're helping others!  Click the star ratings, add photos (optional) and check the submission box
      • Your review will be published after it clears our spam and profanity filters

       

  • Why Isn't My Review Appearing?
      • After your review is submitted, it is moderated for spam and profanity.  If RaceThread filters deem the review inappropriate for any of these reasons, it will not be published
  • I Can't Find a Race, What Should I Do?
      • Use general language and do not be very specific when searching. For example, sometimes the race name in our database may be slightly different than what you typed in like “Megan’s 5K Splash and Dash Tulsa” could be entered into our database as “Megan’s Splash and Dash” or sometime the word “Annual” is missing from “3rd Annual Freedom Run 5K”
      • Change the date range of the race.  If the race occurred recently and the next race date has not been updated, you may have to search a larger date range to ensure the race appears
      • Enter fewer race details – this will return a greater number of races from which you can use the filters to narrow down the races further on the race results page
      • If the race still cannot be found, click HERE on the race results page and follow the additional instructions to submit the race to our database.  You can also email RaceThread Support by clicking on the “Get Help” link at the top of the page
  • How Do I Create an Account?
      • Click on “Sign Up” or “Login” in the top navigation bar
      • Create a new account by entering a Username/Email Address and password OR login using Facebook, Google, or an email address
  • I Forgot My Password, How Do I Reset It?
      • Click on “Login” or “Sign Up” in the top navigation bar
      • Click on “Forgot Password or Username?” link
      • Enter your email address, hit submit, and we'll email you a link with instructions on how to reset your password

      • Click on “Login” or “Sign Up” in the top navigation bar
      • Click on “Forgot Password or Username?” link
      • Enter your email address, hit submit, and we'll email you a link with instructions on how to reset your password
  • How Do I Login to RaceThread.com?
      • Click on “Login” or “Sign Up” in the top navigation bar
      • Enter your username and password OR
      • Login using Facebook or Google
  • How Do I Update My Account?
      • Click on “Login” or “Sign Up” in the top navigation bar
      • Enter your username and password OR login using Facebook or Google
      • Once you are logged in to your account, click on “Account Settings” in the left sidebar
      • You can change personal information, sport preferences, your password, upload user profile photo, etc
      • Hit “Update Account” to save changes
  • I Just Finished a Race, How Do I Write a Review of It?
      • Click “Write a Review” on the footer
      • On the following results page, click on the correct race.  If the race does not display, click on the HERE link to submit the race to our database.
      • You will be directed to the review form if you are logged in to your account.  If you are not logged in, please log in to your account or create an account
      • Fill out all fields, adding as much detail as possible under your comments.  Remember, the more information you write, the more you're helping others!  Click the thumbs up ratings, add photos (optional) and check the submission box
      • Your review will be published after it clears our spam and profanity filters

       

  • Why Do I Have To Be Logged In or Signed Up To Write A Review?
    • This ensures spammers are kept to an absolute minimum on RaceThead.com.  This also allows reviews to be validated and limits biased or falsified reviews

  • Can I Save Races or Compare Races?
      • Yes! On the race page click on the Heart icon on the race picture
      • This saves the race to your account. You must be logged in to enable this feature
      • To compare or look at saved races, click on “Account” and view the races you have saved.
      • You can find information such as race name, race dates, race distances, city, and state

       

  • How Often Are Races Updated?
      • We source our race information on an individual race basis and also rely on users like you and race directors to constantly update races on a daily basis.
      • We make every effort to keep our database as up to date and current with existing and new races as they come out.
      • If you see a race which does not display the new race date, or has other outdated/incorrect information, please CONTACT US or click on the link at the bottom of the race page “Is this your listing?” and submit the updated race information

       

  • I'm a Race Director and I want to Claim my Race and Update Race Information, What Do I Do?
      • You can find all race director information about claiming a race and making updates HERE
  • Why Do Some Races Have Up-To-Date Race Pictures and Additional Race Information?
      • Race pictures are provided by the race director/organization only after the race has been vetted and cleared by RaceThread staff to allow that race director or business to upload pictures
      • Picture uploads are limited to 2 MB/picture and 10 pictures maximum
      • Additional race information is a paid feature and is provided by race directors themselves, not by RaceThread staff.

  • I want to register for a race, but only some links have a registration button. Why?
      • We maintain up-to-date links with race registration companies to provide links to users like you updated on a daily basis
      • With many races having their own registration company/link, it is difficult to provide a link specifically for every single race
      • If you are the director or consultant for a race and would like to provide that registration link, please email us HERE and we’ll be more than happy to update the race listing and registration link
